Day And Night Cycle

I started up on the server 2 days ago because the server i had 26 hours on shut down. And i was told that this server is the best by a global message and i feel fit to believe it since i knew nothing of it. Till i noticed the biggest part of Arma DayZ was removed witch was Night Cycle.
This game mode is post to be a apocalypse survival military sim so why take out something that makes it feel a tad bit more real. and plus arma 2 night look beautiful in lit up areas and it will bring back use for NVG's witch right now are useless and i still wonder why they didn't remove them from the markets.
